Tadaima Nyuyokuchu ("Currently Bathing") is a Yell miniature series inspired by Japan's onsen and sento bathing culture. The lineup includes a gorilla in a rustic tub, a Japanese macaque dozing in a rock hot spring, an axolotl enjoying a drum-can bath, three long-tailed tits sharing a wooden washbasin, and a pygmy hippo soaking in a tiled bath. Like many of Yell's creations, it takes an everyday scene and turns it into a delightfully specific little sculpture.
